Frequently asked questions about Masters in Automotive Software Engineering

In this blog post I am covering some basic questions am getting again and again from students who are applying for masters in ASE/ICS/Embedded System. This is part one of this blog post since I might do another cover up post if questions asked get a bit more interesting and cover more topics  related  to studying here. 1.How difficult is it to get internship as internship is included in ASE course? Getting an internship is not difficult. In fact it’s much easier than getting a full time job.  Most of the students who started with me or even a year after me have an internship now in reputed companies like Bosch, Daimler, Betrandt, Fraunhofer.  Not only ASE but students also from Embedded Systems and ICS (Information and Communication Systems) have got internship in companies. The most important thing is applying for different diverse companies and not just aiming for the top reputed ones. The thing to note here is that the salary difference is not muc...

What Germany and Germans(G&G) can learn from India and Indians(I&I) and maybe from Others

This post might sting some of my fellow Germans but its just written to give a reality check and also to prove nothing is perfect. In one of my previous post I just covered some of the things Indians and India (I&I) should learn from Germans and Gemany(G&G).            http://studyabroadcounselling.blogspot.in/2014/09/what-indians-can-learn-from-germany-and.html It was just the part 1 of the article which means I would follow that article up with  another article which highlights some of the other points missed by me, which we should learn from G&G. Some people mailed me that the article was a bit harsh and that I was actually ridiculing the Indians, but believe me I had no such intentions and all I want is that things should change in India and in us and we should try to learn positive things from others. But surprisingly most people told me that , I was absolutely right and that they could relate to whatever I was saying , and t...

Coming to chemnitz? : This is how you should expect your life to be ! - Part 1

I have lived in Chemnitz for around 10 months (oct 13 to aug 14). I have traveled to most of the places in and around Chemnitz (quite a small city actually) and I have lived both in dorm and also in WG (you know a bunch of people living together) with 4 Germans. In this article I would like to share some stuff regarding the life in Chemnitz and what you can expect and what your expectations should be before coming here. This article is focused  on everyone and not just on people coming from India.

Education experience in Chemnitz (first few days of my experience in automotive software engineering) - PART 1

First of all let me apologize for such a long delay in my posts . The reason being my laziness, my interests in roaming around the saxony and probably I had forget about this blog for few days. But here I am with my latest experience about the studies in Germany but today my main focus is on TUC (CHEMNITZ).                                            It has been more than a month since I have come to Chemnitz city and have experienced the education methodology used in Germany or in particular in Chemnitz university of Technology.

Finished Your Studies In European Union? How long can you stay? European Union Explained

In my previous post entitled “Countries where you can Immigrate/Settle easily “, I covered the countries around the world where you get visa extension and hopefully permanent residence (pr) card easily.  http://www.studyabroadcounselling.blogspot.in/2013/06/countries-where-you-can-immigratesettle.html The countries which were focused on that articles where Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, USA and Singapore. The reason being these countries provide a visa extension up to a minimum of one year (Singapore doesn’t but if you study there in a subsidized fee then you get three year visa). And it is really easy to get a PR in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore than in any other country around the world.
